Discover the secrets of heirloom Italian food as Emiko Davies discusses her new book with Barbara Sweeney. In Tortellini at Midnight, Emiko traces her family history and recipes from Taranto to Turin and Tuscany. There will be delicious food to try along with Italian wines.
Australian born, Emiko Davies is a photographer, food writer, blogger and author of three cookbooks. Tortellini at Midnight is her most recent book. Her earlier books are Florentine and Acquacotta. Emiko's work appears in Gourmet Traveller, Conde Nast Traveller, The Guardian and Corriere della Sera.
Barbara Sweeney is the founder and organiser of Sydney's annual Food & Words Festival. She writes about food, farmers and artisan food producers. Barbara also reviews restaurants, judges regional food competitions and runs food events.
